One of our favourite aspects of being wedding photographers is experiencing our clients reactions when they first see their images from their engagement and wedding. It is a chance for them to relive their wedding day over and over again; the emotions, the love, and those who shared in their day! When our couples choose us, we are able to spend a great deal of time getting to know them through phone calls, consults, the engagement session and of course the wedding day. It is a journey that develops a life long friendship. Every time we photograph an engagement session or wedding we are able to take away something special from each event and apply it to our own lives as a married couple. It makes us sit back and reflect on why we fell in love and what makes us best friends, and soul mates.
Sharing in Allie & Dustin’s journey was no different. From the moment we met them you could see the sparkle in her eyes when Dustin looked at her. The time we spent together for their engagement session provided an amount of trust that was beyond valuable for their wedding day. Dustin and Allie trusted us whole heartedly with the time line, locations and knowing what would make their wedding day run smoothly. It was a winter wedding to remember!
After Allie & Dustin received their images, they sent us a beautiful note:
“A very big thank you for doing our wedding pictures! The pictures are absolutely beautiful, you and Jared are amazing!! Thank you so much for doing such a wonderful job. Dustin and I appreciate all of your time and effort that you put into the engagement and wedding pics. We love them!”
Love
Dustin & Allie
Here is one of our favourite images from their wedding day! Enjoy!

One frame for our adventure into town scouting for locations for an upcoming Trash the Dress Session. Huatulco was an amazing city, with welcoming people and beautiful scenery!

When Chelsea contacted me about setting a time to do their engagement session, her one and only request was ” I just want snow!” This was in February when there was ZERO snow ….. so we decided to wait until March just incase. Well her dreams came true! A few days before their March session their was a blizzard which resulted in an abundance of the white fluffy stuff!!! Their session took place in their home town of Rocky Mountain house, a beautiful backdrop to capture the true essence of winter. Thanks so much you two for trudging through thigh deep snow just so we could get “the shot!” We are looking forward to your June wedding and sharing in your day. Enjoy your photos!
